EYEF comes to Nice, France!
From 26 to 29 October 2026, the city of Nice will host the 5th edition of the European Youth Energy Forum (EYEF).
Organised by the European Youth Energy Network (EYEN), EYEF brings together students, young professionals, and researchers from across Europe and the Mediterranean to exchange ideas and develop solutions for the energy transition.
Building on our continued collaboration with the IRENA Youth Forum the 2026 edition will further strengthen the role of youth in the global energy dialogue.
EYEF 2026: what to expect?
The theme for this year’s edition is: From Skills to Impact: Empowering young professionals to implement the energy transition.
Today, the renewable energy transition is no longer only about generating ideas, it’s about implementing them. That’s why at EYEF 2026 we will be turning knowledge into action by helping young people become part of real change.
We will introduce the first-ever edition of the IRENA Youth NewGen Hackathon Europe by EYEN, empowering youth-led innovation by creating space for practical cooperation and solution-driven work.
Participants have already begun their online journey in preparation for the live forum in Nice this October. Stay tuned for more details!
